Mindfulness Tea Ceremony & Oracle card making at Books on High, Auckland CBD
When: Sunday, Sep 8th, 2024 from 1.30pm-3pm
This is a community event that The Grounded Circle collaborates with Books on High to support your wellness journey with the energy exchange of $25 pp during this financial declining period. Wellness & deep connection with a community aren't luxury items. Come and join us in this monthly gathering!
We will be upstairs at Books on High's beautiful and cosy reading lounge surrounded by books and sunlit windows.
Space is limited to 10 people only (+14 years old kids are welcome - note that our tea has a small amount of caffeine)
The event includes:
- Introduction on The Way of Tea & The Art of Oracle cards
- Mindfulness Tea Ceremony
- Short Guided Meditation with Tea
- Make your own Oracle or Tarot card
- Organic tea, healthy snacks & art supplies included
What to bring:
- Your own water bottle. We have a kitchen that you can fill up your bottle
- Your own art supplies if you would like to use your own (for example: scissor and markers)
About the host -Sierra Truong:
Sierra is an artist, meditation teacher & tea person (tea person: someone who practices The way of tea- Cha Dao). She started her meditation journey in 2014. Meditation is the foundation of her art & Cha Dao - tea practice. Sierra is the founder of The Grounded Circle, a community that was started in 2022 to support your wellness with the grounding practices of meditation, tea, art & self-expression. She has been teaching meditation classes, tea sessions, art & authentic self-expression events around Auckland over the last few years.
Sierra has illustrated tarot and oracle cards for tarot authors all around the world since 2019 when she left her interior design job to be a fulltime illustrator. Sierra started to work on her own oracle deck Messages of the Inner Self since 2021.
