This creative community event is created with accessibility in mind. Your tickets will go towards supporting the admin fee and art supplies. This event is for adults only.

When: Saturday, 18th Oct, 10am - 12pm

Where: Wish cafe, Kroad, Auckland CBD 

Ticket: $7 (NOT including drinks & food at venue - Ticket is to support admin fee & art supplies)

Space is limited to 6 people only

The gathering includes:

• Brief Introduction & everyone gets to know each other. 
• Brief Instruction on the art supplies and techniques of colouring.
• Colouring with Ohuhu markers & coloured pencils. Bring your own colouring book. Sierra's colouring books are available to purchase for $20 per book on the day.
• You also have an option to bring your own creative project (knitting, crochet, collage, sketching…) if preferred.
• Creative connection circle.

What will be provided:

• Art supplies for you to use on the day: Ohuhu markers, Prisma coloured pencils, Faber Castell coloured pencils.

What to bring:

• Your own colouring book if prefered. Sierra's colouring books are available to purchase for $20 per book. You can either bring cash or bank transfer on the day.
• Tea, matcha, coffee & snacks are available to order at Wish cafe. We do ask everyone to support the cafe by ordering 1 item. Their prices are very reasonable ($4-$10 each item)
• Your own art supplies if prefered.

Note:

• Please arrive on time at 10am.
• Street Parking on Howe street in 3 mins walking from Wish cafe.

***IMPORTANT - No refund but you can on-sell your ticket to others. Please communicate with host for any changes of your ticket. Full Refund will be issued if event is cancelled by host.

About the host & founder of The Grounded Circle - Sierra Truong:

Sierra is an artist, meditation teacher, writer and tea practitioner. She started her meditation journey in 2014 with The Sri Chinmony meditation centre. She later trained in the 16 week Mindfulness Mentor Program with Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield, as well as participated in the mindfulness practice in the tradition of the Plum Village, a community founded by Thich Nhat Hanh. Meditation is the foundation of her art & Cha Dao - tea practice. 

Sierra is the founder of The Grounded Circle, a community that was started in 2022 to support your wellness with the grounding practices of meditation, tea, art & self-expression. She has been teaching meditation & creative classes, tea sessions & wellness workshops around Auckland over the last few years. 

Sierra has illustrated tarot and oracle cards since 2019 and has published a number of mindfulness, yoga & slow living colouring books.
